I had my unit broken into. It turns out this has been happening to more than just me and over a period of time, not just one episode of break in. This facility is not managing the problem proactively and does not provide safe storage for all its customers.

No one at the office during business hours, not even a note saying what time they'll be back. I had to call to reach the manager and seemed like she was not happy about it..... plus, there was a big smell of weed.

This place allows your personal items to be stolen. They do not monitor the property, they allow anyone to come in and out. I had personal items stolen and all I got was a this, "I don't give a cramp attitude." and telling me the insurance claim will be denied. They did not bother to look at their surveillance videos. The onsite manager lives right above and cannot even pay attention to people in and out. This is too suspicious! This place used to be great. They were reasonably priced and good customer service. It's all gone down hill. I have had units with them for years. They started increasing prices constantly, you can expect price increases every month. They give discounts to get you in, then rack up the price. They are now so out of line with the rest of Sacramento that I have a storage facility in a nice part of East Sacramento that is significantly cheaper then here in West Sacramento. If I could, I would give this company zero stars. They get you in with a competitive rate and within 3 months your rates are drastically increased and become way overpriced. I think their thinking is that it is easier for you to keep paying than it is to move. I was shocked at the rudeness of their employee and how the higher you go in their company the story just keeps changing with every person. It's taken me 3 days to get to this review. Reason 1: I gave the benefit of a doubt and thought maybe I would get an apology but no, that didn't happen. Reason 2: I was truly upset. After commuting over 70 miles and that after moving items between 2 different cities, I was caught in a downpour that went through at least 5-6 cities arriving at this storage a little after 9 pm. After unloading the storage and adding the new items and reloading the storage we noticed we had went past the storage closing time by 20 minutes.... read more

I have rented here for a few years due to lack of knowledge of storage units when I first rented and laziness on my part to move my stuff once it had been placed. I would not recommend this facility due to poor management. The facility itself is clean, however whenever you want to talk to anyone, there is no one available. I one time showed up and the doors were locked during business hours and the front desk lady was eating her lunch upstairs and refused to unlock the door, or assist for another 25 minutes. Terrible service!!!!! Office is NEVER open and management is beyond rude. Rent was raised several times over my two year account with them. I attempted to give notice 3 times but the office was always locked during business hours, I am being charged for a full month because of this. I called and the Manager basically said, "well our contract this.... our contract that". NO CONCERN for customer service. I will never EVER use any extra space storage again.

expect rent increases, homeless people, mice, cockroaches, no moving carts as promised, employees that have no interaction with renters, rates that are the highest in the area. go ahead rent here if you're non believer.
