Malika(I'm sorry I'm sure I'm spelling it wrong ) was the most helpful and by far the most sincerely genuine person I've met at this location. Not saying anything about the other folks lol but she's killing the game ! She was soooo proactive, considerate, helpful, energetic, professional all while being effective in her job. Excellent experience from rental through move out. Professional and helpful staff, easy billing, safe and clean place.
As far as the storage itself goes, it was great. I never had any issue that I could see. I stored with them for over 3 years and when I finally got my stuff back, it was bug free, which is a huge plus for me since I'm terrified of bugs. The staff was always friendly, even when calling me to tell me I forgot to pay my rent (I rarely went over the grace period, but my memory sucks.) Great clean storage facility with good customer support. I lost my key, it was my fault and they just charged me for a new lock...get a combination lock!

I have been a customer for 9 years off and on. My experience has always been positive. Yes, they do check the units often. I got a call once because my lock was not affixed properly. They are attentative to ones needs and questions. I didn't give Extra Space 5 stars because it seems they raise the rent about 2 times a year. (I use auto pay.) I would recommend using Extra Space Storage. Check online first because you may get a better deal initially.

I have been with Extraspace Storage continuing this year 9 yrs. in West Sacramento and 2 yrs. prior in SJ and out of state prior to CA. My goal from the beginning was to work with one company since I transferred often. Unfortunately, on my part, I have paid Extraspace $120,000 ++ during my rental tenure. My primary concern is that ES issues rental increases every 9 months.
