Great facility with great security I feel very secure with my things stored at this facility. I have been a long time tenant here and this place is always clean and I have nothing but great things to say about the staff here. Professional very helpful always securing our valuables. These people are sharp here they actually are worth every penny they charge over the "other guys" So far I have referred multiple to this location due to great service and security. They rock

Such amazing staff. They are priceless and make the storage process so pain-free. Office Manager June is simply divine, Larry is so engaging and Shaun is a quiet storm who gets the job done. They make sure to have the renters best interest in mind and are honest about rates, rules, etc., and will not be used car salespeople. Truly they all deserve a raise and make ESS in Sherman Oaks a great experience. Leslie S

Extra Space Storage is the best. The staff is very helpful and takes care of business. June was especially helpful to me. I appreciated her professional attitude and concern in helping me through my moving situation. I would never have a problem recommending family and friends to use Extra Space Storage.

The propietors are helpful though a little 'technically' challenged. The unit itself was very clean and access was also very easy. I appreciate the effort Larry made when my husband broke the lock off in the lifting gate door. Hopefully this unit will be short term because storage isn't cheap!

I rented a storage space in extra space storage on Sepulveda Boulevard that was broken into so their security is very poor. Also, the manager Roxanne Bishop was of no help and could never stop talking.

Like everyone else has stated, they raise your rates without notice and don't care to retain your business. I started off paying around $330 for a 10x10 and I am now ending my lease because I've been paying $466/month. They know it's a pain to move your stuff out, so you just keep paying until you can't justify it anymore. The excuse they give about jacking up rates in order maintain security and cleanliness are completely unfounded. These facilities get broken into regularly. I would avoid coming to the storage place at all cost! Sneaky shady practice! the manager didn't care to help us he called out for someone to help knowing we had just called and told him we were coming to talk about why the unit was basically half cut off and not mentioned in any email or on the web site.. also if you are on the second level they have cars parked all along the wall so brining in your truck to move is impossible!!! Poor business management so sad to see! We came to EZ STORAGE and were taken care of

I have been with extra space for 4 months and during that time they raised the rates from $262 to $359 which is a 37% increase. This was NOT an intro rate but "adjusted for market conditions". Probably legal as they have a team of lawyers but definitely in my opinion unethical and I would never do business with them again. All I can say is beware and you have been warned

This place is AWFUL. Haven't been able to get anyone on the phone number listed on the confirmation email and the office is closed early. They charged me extra because I didn't move in right away and put a zip tie on my unit because of it. WHO DOES THAT?!?! Sometimes, people work office hours and can't drop everything and move in!!! The office is supposedly open until 6pm and no one is here as of 5:30pm: I'm being charged for a storage unit that I can't access. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!
