So let me start by saying I was a customer for a year and was very happy with the facility and staff until an incident that happened yesterday that I think they should be held accountable for and potential renters should be aware of. Beware doing business with this company. Four years ago, my rent started off at $193 per month. Since they have never seen a rate increase they did not like, they just raised it again up to $331 per month. Whatever rate they promise you, you can be sure that you will not be paying that rate for long. We canceled my rental after only 6 months because of several problems. First, we noticed a brown liquid leaking from the ceiling of our unit only our belongings. We reported it and it was never repaired nor does it seem that they even looked at it. Next, we asked several times about moving to a smaller, cheaper unit and each time were told that either nothing was available or, when one became available, the price would be the same as what we were playing. I rented with extra space storage for eight months when the incident occurred that caused me to drop my rating of this facility to a single star, if I could give zero stars I would. When I went initially to tour the facility and see the available units I had my 12 lb terrier mix, Angus, by my side. On leash and well socialized, as I always have him with me when I'm out and about. He is an old hand at these types of things. AVOID! Do not trust this place to hold a reservation for you. Even if you have reservation confirmation and they have taken your charge card info they will give your unit away and leave you high and dry. I made an online reservation then called and spoke with Maria who could not decipher the reservation I had made on the Extra Space website. I helped her through it and we agreed on a move in date for my reservation. The lady at the front desk, Maria, was on a personal phone call when I walked in and looked annoyed to see me. She was very vague with information. She did not seem to care about customer service at all, and was very rude and short when answering my questions. Not professional at all, even though it is $20 cheaper than a close competitor, I'd still rather spend more money than give this place my business.

The good: This is a nice clean facility comparable to others in the area. It has good security and lighting. Units are climate controlled. The bad: Doors on smaller units are flimsy and can easy be broken into with a simple screwdriver in a couple minutes. The carts that are provided are in constant disrepair. This leaves about 3 working ones that are quickly snatched up often leaving you to carry things by hand. The manager here is...well...horrible. She is very rude and condescending.
