Misleading advertising. Doesn't honor advertised rates. Plays games with availability/inventory and leads you to storage units that don't have specials on them. Terrible business practice!
Extra Space Storage is clean and secure. I'll give it that. But the prices kept going up every few months. When I moved out and wanted to cancel, I was charged the full month for notifying the manager just 2 days after the start of the new month. He was a total jerk about it, too.
Nice facility but poor service. The first month is free, so you'll pay only fees of $29 to move in. In my experience, the manager repeatedly insisted "just move in" and he would get the price down to match my budget. When I contacted him before the first month was over to see that he matched the price, he didn't remember and was unwilling to do anything to help. I have used the Marina branch for work, and I much prefer them. It's only a couple miles away, less expensive, and the staff is helpful. Go there!
