I have stored stuff here on and off for years. Excellent customer service and fair prices is why I store my stuff here. Also the security is solid!
Listen - the rating has NOTHING to do with the service, the facility, or the location. Everything is top-notch, my single biggest gripe is the rent. It's high. But so is everything on the island. Doesn't make it right. I just decided to bump them up a star from 3 to 4 because I can't complain about them as a business, but the rent! Reserving a space online was fast and easy. It was followed up with a phone call to confirm and they even had a truck rental to use! The ladies in the office were all very nice and knowledgeable about the process. I'm glad I chose Extra Space to store my things as we transitioned from a move. Aloha and Mahalo!

We had a few choices for storage in Kahului, but we chose extra space because we could book the storage units remotely without having to be on Maui to sign the rental agreement. We just went to the extra space near our former home in California and completed the transaction using DocuSign. Other facilities do not offer this option, and because of the shortage of large units on Maui we didn't feel comfortable waiting until we got here to find storage for our household goods scheduled to arrive a week later. The girl Antoinett that helped me was great. Only reason I gave 4 stars was because their system lost my reservation. I also was surprised about the insurance and admin. fee. But she made good on the reservation and very very polite and pleasant.
I've been a renter several times and can't say enough how friendly & helpful everyone is. My units have always been clean and secure. I have no worries about my items. They also have great hours. I gladly recommend anyone seeking self storage to check out the fine folks at Extra Space in Kahului... Awesome
This place rocks. At first I wasn't too happy about the store being closed for the day for a corporate meeting but after speaking to rental specialist they were able to get me into a unit that day. Toni at the kahului units was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I tried to give her a tip but declined and said " its my job!" Thanks a lot. I will defiantly be recommending your company in the future! Aloha!
We have had a storage locker here in Kahului for several years. The staff is great and helpful. We appreciate the location, and the fact that they have staff that patrols their location. Never a problem, I would recommend them to anyone.
