So here is my review of Extra Space Storage. I have been in this building long before Extra Space Storage came along. Originally it was Diamond Head Self Storage. Then of course a Hostile takeover occurred and things changed. We are very pleased with our choice to lease a couple spaces here. Justin Hewlett-Bloch is very out-going, friendly and a very easy going person to work with. He took all our storage needs into mind and had us taken care of in very short order. I would definitely recommend this facility and team to anyone asking for a secure place to store their property, you could not ask for a more professional team than this.

I just arrived on the island and needed a place pronto before my car arrived from the mainland. I reserved the space online and spoke with staff as I missed my reservation date. Edward and Justin were helpful and the underground garage looked clean and secured. Now I can storage personal items in the car. The first-month rent is less than $95, the only downside is the car only accessible during office hours until I can find a parking space.

I figured it's about time I write a review for this place since it has become like a second home when we're visiting the island. When we found out we were going to be moving off the island, we knew we would need a place to store a few things while in the process of our transition. This location is so spotless and air conditioned makes storing a breeze. Easy access to carts and elevators are quick. Hoping the rates don't go up crazy later, will keep you posted. For now- I feel safe storing at Extra Space Storage.

This place is great and the staff is very friendly. They have a covered car garage to store your vehicle which was what I was looking for. The units look very clean and well kept. Will definitely do business again with them in the future.

Office staff are helpful however the company as a whole is bad especially upper management. Units are advertised at a lower rate and guaranteed, every 4-6 months the rate goes up. In 1 year you will be paying $200 more than the advertised rate. Elevators work and don't work, and at times no elevators work and you cannot access your units. The office staff help as best they can but again, you are paying their high rates and they always have elevator problems. Cameron was disappointing. I have 2 storage spaces on the same floor. I was moving into my unit and just placed it open. Cameron comes by and sees us 2 doors down and starts closing the unit door. I said excuse me but that's my unit and I moving into it. He continues to close the door. I walk over and ask him why he's doing that. I said we're moving into it. He said extremely CONDESCENDINGLY. Disappointed, only recently found out that 24/7 access requires contacting the site manager when we never had to do so before. And then, staff made an error by locking our storage, which was meant for the next unit over, not ours that we pay by direct payment monthly and have been since the start when the location was Diamond Head Self Storage. Don't know what's going on. My experience with this company is going down and down.
