(Update 10/19/2015 - my rent was raised again by $28 a month for Oct! It's corporate greed and they don't give a darn about their customers. I finally moved my belongings out of Extra Space to a WONDERFUL Independently owned storage facility down the street "U-Store".) The Extra Space website for this facility will only post "positive" reviews. I wrote a NON-positive review and it was not posted - which is why I am posting my comments here. I should have read my friends review before moving all my stuff into this place. I asked about them raising the price and they said they don't well as soon as they had the chance they did. Do not believe the BS story, they will keep upping the rate.

I dont like the fact that their pricing is so all over the place, which makes them look sneeky. In my previous review, I had spoke with Brandi. Below, I cut and pasted the paragraph about our conversation, that I will be updating and commenting on and why there are now 2 stars. XXX She quoted me $161.00 for the unit I wanted, I said, but I saw it for $138.00 thats why I called. She said oh I can do that for you but for $137.00. Not "Secure"; Poor Corporate Customer relations I have paid Extra Space Storage for a 15 x15 space in Chatsworth for 7 years. On September 6, 2012, I discovered the locks were not my locks, and thus had to have one lock cut off to gain entry. I could not gain full entry because all of the springs were broken on the three doors to this unit, and I was told they could be replaced that day. I recently rented a storage unit from Extra Space Storage and the process was PAINFUL. My parents have two storage units at the place and heard they had a "first month free deal" going on so I decided to store my stuff there for the time being. We arrived at the place at 1:00 and was told we had to come back in 30 minutes because he (the only employee present) was on his break and he couldn't help us.
