I've been a loyal customer for many years, yet the facility has changed ownership several times. With the current ownership ESS, they increase my rate a few times year. I started out at $114 per month and just received yet another increase notice today of $202 effective 4/01/18. ESS does not know how to retain customers as they use "market rates" as their reason. If you don't mind constant rental increases, then use ESS since they have acquired numerous facilities all around the LA/OC area.
This facility had a mishap with their accounts receivable and blocked access to my personal property, along with many other customers, as a result. I was a customer here for 11 years always using automated payments one week prior to the due date. They chose to disable my access code without warning or any attempt to track down the payment which I have proof was made directly from my checking account.
