Price increases so ridiculous it should be a joke and criminal. Manager basically told me too bad so sad it is what it is. Been here not even a year and I've had two rate increases in 12 months which is outlandish but hey the joys of month to month self storage I suppose. 2nd time using storage and this was a nightmare of an experience
Don't get a unit here. They're very nice when you sign up but when you need them you are stuck behind a gate and doorbell for 30 minutes to an hour. And this is early afternoon! I've attached a picture of what you'll be seeing as a tenant here. The doorbell!

Had my stuff here for two months, went by to pick up a few things from my unit and noticed rat feces all over my appliances and couch. Taking my stuff out as soon as possible. Waiting for the insurance company to get back to me but I doubt they will do anything about it just like the storage manager.
I had storage my stuff at different storage facilities before from shitty public storage and others but this one right here they make you feel welcome and make you feel like they are there for you . Dana is a great person always keeps in touch with you .her and the other workers are always there for you and to work with you and help you no matter what situation you are going through they will help you I highly recommend this storage facility to whom ever would like to storage their stuff because people like them is the reas... read more
Unfortunately, I never got my belongings out of this dump. Life happens, and sometimes you can't follow through on stuff like this. I had to grab a suit out of storage the other day for a funeral. What did I find when I arrived? More broken glass in my unit, the smell of piss, and mouse shit everywhere. If these jackasses had done what I requested months ago, this wouldn't be an issue. Unreliable, unsafe and unaccountable! No security, no supervision and no effort to resolve the ongoing issue and increase theft. Spare yourself the stress and go elsewhere. I seriously would not give any stars if I had the choice.

VERY UNSAFE. This is the second time in about a month and a half that the whole place has been torn apart by thieves at night. Last time they hit our unit among dozens of others and stole our tools. Our unit door is still smashed in, they just half ass popped the dent outward and left it. There's still no security at the place. They just got ransack again. They must have no motion sensor or camera even worst there is no staff or staff is sleeping. Your items are not secured here.

Jim, the problem with what you're saying is this: Extra Space Storage is not actually reassessing the market cost of this unit because you're keeping it the same for other people. you're simply hiking up the rate for current tenants. I've also asked you to call me numerous times and left and updated phone number with Maria and other staff. You do NOT strive yo provide good customer service and I'm filing a formal complaint with the city of Wilmington this week.
