I have had a unit in the North Aurora facility for a year and have had no problems until recently. One evening at around 830pm, my daughter and I were accessing our unit to take out Christmas decorations and a car drove in very fast with a woman in her 20's being very loud and she parked where we were parked. The price for the **** storage unit I rented was $114. There were no complaints, until I visited my unit to check on my belongings and they were covered in dirt and grime from the ceiling. I immediately wondered why I'm paying $114 to have dirt tossed over my couches and mattresses?Now using the New Year as an excuse, they're raising the price of my unit to $166. From top to bottom this organization is poorly managed and entirely unprofessional. I hope the entire company goes under. Maybe they can sell off their phones and computers they’re incapable of using to pay their staff they can’t keep.

Please for your own safety and peace go somewhere else. They are eager to take your unit ND belongings regardless of how long you've had space and no matter WHAT caused the set back. I'll be moving out soon.

I moved into a unit at the Life Storage facility at 636 SW Loop 410 at about 2pm on 12/7/22. The next day 12/8/22 at 9:15am I arrived at the facility I notice the gate had been left open all night. When I arrived at my unit the unit door was partially open, and my remaining belongings were strewn all over the driveway. I had been robbed. These people are criminals, it isn't any wonder they netted 800 million last year, not only raise my rent, they charged me a late fee, because they would'nt honor the grace ****** because it fell on a holiday. Called to reserve a unit. ***** told me he'd give me a lock for free if I gave him an excellent review. That is how they get their good reviews on their website, bribery.I went in to fill out the contract and he told me I didn't have a unit at their facility, he argued with me about it. Finally discovered there was another page. Duh!***** took me to see the unit. Door was broken and there was a gaping hole in my unit with shredded sharp edges made in my unit by the adjoining unit. I was client with life storage but one time they charged me $ extra and they didnt return it back. They are not proffessional, they steel money from the client and I tried to contact the corporate and i didint get anything.
