I have a grade 1 tear in my A/C joint since 2020 that I injured while serving in the Marines. I had a scheduled appointment confirmed both with multiple texts and emails. When I arrived, ON TIME, I told the girl at the desk I had made an appointment. She directed me to check in to the kiosk at the desk and she said sit down and wait. 35 minutes later she called me up and said I needed to fill out the paperwork to which I replied that I had done it when I made the appointment online. The wait was very long. And they didn’t refer me to another speacailist per doctor orders. They nurse told me to call my insurance and to schedule my own referral. They didn’t even recommend any other speacilist. Just sent me off my way
I arrived at11:45 for a appointment at 12. Absolutely the worse experience in the medical profession i have every had. Waited 2 hours and 45 minutes to be treated like all the other the civilian people. Military should be treated professionally instead of a addicts in the world. .
I did not have good experience. I paid more for getting the urgent care. But, it was absolutely did not worth. I am still having sore throat and they did not prescribe the right medication. I don’t recommend anyone to visit the urgent care.
This goes for 2/6/23 and 2/7/23. I went in and was getting treated for gout on 2/6 they prescribed me a medication told me if it did not work to come back, and I took it as directed. It did not work. On 2/7 I went in and they made a note to prescribe me a different medication that I know works. They said they would call it in and so I went about my day and went to the pharmacy and it hadn’t been sent yet. It is ironic that this is called Fast Pace, as there is nothing fast about it. I understand we are in a pandemic and raging flu/cold/every other virus season, so wait times might be long. The issue is that the company’s system tells you that you are number 1 in line, and then you still have to wait 2 hours to be seen. If I made a reservation online and did all the paperwork ahead of time and I’m first in the queue, why am I waiting 2 hours in the waiting room? I came to the clinic for one reason: to be drug tested for a new job. I felt like the forms I had to fill out required way too much information or why I was there. Emergency contact, pharmacy preference, personal physician, etc. was way too much info needed just to come in for a drug screen. My future employer instructed me to go to Fast Pace for a drug screen and it was not my intention to become a new patient there, so it was frustrating to fill out all the mandatory information that wasn't really needed.
