The ribs were decently seasoned but a little tougher than I'd like. The macaroni was no one's grandma's recipe or at least no one with melanin. The beans were okay. The toast was good. Bottled tea in a BBQ joint is a sin!

Considering how crazy packed this week was-FP's service was perfect. We met friends for drinks before heading out for dinner. The location was loud-and I loved it
Being from South Carolina,y family and I can say this place is the best BBQ in the DMV! Please try now!
The sides were my favorite part of the meal. The meat was moist. I was not a fan of the sauces. We ordered uber eats, so this may have affected the experience. Got a platter of 4 meats and 4 sides and they forgot the ribs. The turkey was my favorite meat. The green chile hominy was my favorite side.
I really enjoy the experience there , it just reminded me of old meat, i enjoy meat very much . The service was good the customers were very attentive and that's what its important. Great place and i'd like to do there again

Wow! I was able to try a majority of the new Seasonal Menu along with some classic menu favorites! I love how they take BBQ and create modern and unique menu items! I was pleasantly surprised by the Smoked Pork Vindaloo! The curry was really flavorful! My highlights: Chili Mac, Smoked Garlic Hummus, Smoked Oxtail Empanadas, and Italian Stallion. Just try this place...they have so many cool dishes! Meat was cooked tenderly and flavorful in every dish I tried!
Came to try their monthly special a lamb gyro, which was amazing!!! I also got a 2meat combo of brisket burnt ends, smoked wings with mac & greens and brussel sprouts. While the briskets wasn't caramelized in sauce like I'm use to, it was moist, tender & still very good. I love smoked wings so couldn't go wrong with them. Their sauces are the best!! The hot bbq actually was spicy and the garlic bbq was packed full of flavor. Wish I had more than just a small container of each! The mac and cheese was decent and while brussel ... read more
Awesome sauce, The medium barbecue sauce as a gift that keeps on giving, the Spicy heat slowly builds and builds. I asked for lean brisket. And was happy.. The turkey was immaculate smoky moist and soft. My wife ordered wings she did not finish did not say why. It's kind of weird that you leave a tip upfront when you order, I had to go and explain that I wanted my beverages while I waited for my food, had a Dennizens hazy IPA . FYI Lunchtime beers are three dollars. I got three meats and a couple sides shared with two people... read more
My family and I ate here during the summer and it was so darn good! We were hooked!! Absolutely everything was on point--easy 5 Star rating. With the Thanksgiving holiday before us Wednesday night and so much to do, I suggested getting taking out from the Federalist Pig. The pulled pork was fine (Though, the portion was definitely not what it was during the summer.) My husband said the sausage was fine; however, everything else was awful! The ribs tasted like lighter fluid (Such a waste of money; not one could be eaten--ugh.... read more
