My family and I ate here during the summer and it was so darn good! We were hooked!! Absolutely everything was on point--easy 5 Star rating. With the Thanksgiving holiday before us Wednesday night and so much to do, I suggested getting taking out from the Federalist Pig. The pulled pork was fine (Though, the portion was definitely not what it was during the summer.) My husband said the sausage was fine; however, everything else was awful! I recently visited The Federalist Pig in Washington, DC, and ordered the Two Step Combo Platter, which included ribs, brisket, macaroni and cheese, red bliss potato salad, some pickles, and an unknown pickled vegetable. Starting with the positives, the macaroni and cheese was hot and tasty, offering a comforting, cheesy goodness. The meats were bland and lack flavor. I purchased $160 worth of food. Grabbing the family platter which included mac&cheese, Brussels. Turkey, brisket rib tips and pork belly. On top of that I purchased the beef rib, the cheesesteak and the pastrami sandwich. The only thing that lit up my taste buds was the pastrami sandwich. The mac&cheese was unnecessarily spicy, the Brussels were to charred, the meats had little flavor other than a smoky lacked seasoning

First off by far the worst service in a while. The potential is here however the workers are very nasty and rude, the food was cold and when asked to heat up one of the three plates (that were called) the woman said she was calling my name for very long which in fact was a lie as I was sitting 15 feet away . The food is actually decent but due to the awful service it's hard to enjoy the food. Almost all the workers seemed very annoyed to be there. No one has on name tags. Music is good but very low. I ordered the platter with 2 meat sides so I ordered 2 orders of the bones they only sent me 1 order of the bones. They didn't taste like the last time and was really small and tough for 30 bucks this is to much to get cheated out of your food.

Food waaaaay too spicy. Not kid friendly because everything on their menu was too spicy... even something as basic as corn. Employee should've been wearing hair net because he was cooking with his hair exposed

Great meal and good food. Meat was a bit dry but still very good. Service was quick and I was able to use inKind which was awesome!
