We worked with Scott Gereaux, and Azlee Miles, who were part of his team, and they helped us with the process step by step and answered all our questions. It was an awesome experience, and made us at ease, Scott, came to our closing, and made it as painless as possible, made us worry free, being the first time home buyer and all. We received weekly (Tuesday) updates on where our loan was at in the process. We would absolutely refer people to Citywide based on our experience.

It had been many years since I had last bought a house. Gavin was responsive and helpful with a difficult situation that came up during the process of obtaining our new home loan. Gavin has a loan office assistant that handled our account that we were unhappy with. Our experience was very frustrating to say the least. I sent several complaints to Citywide by email and phone, and Gavin Ekstrom was very responsive and apologetic. Awesome process. Gavin made the buying experience very stress free which is unheard of in the Mortgage world. Everything from the pre approval to the closing was in a timely matter and well communicated. The little things they do to keep your mind of the process does wonders for comfort and trust. I strongly recommend Gavin and his team to anyone trying to purchase or refinance any property no matter if you are a first time home buyer or veteran in the process.

We worked with his team members Tom Stafford and Azlee Miles. It was an awesome experience. We received weekly updates on where our loan was at in the process. In addition, we received several thoughtful care packages throughout the loan process which showed wonderful attention to detail. Tom attended our closing which went smoothly and without issue. There are a few reason why we will not give a good rating/ review to this company. During our process we experienced different issues that makes us feel dissatisfied. To start, we would like to note how lengthy our process was. The date we initiated the process with CrossCountry Mortgage was November 2020 and the date of the closing was not until almost one full year later (October 2021).
