Awesome process. Gavin made the buying experience very stress free which is unheard of in the Mortgage world. Everything from the pre approval to the closing was in a timely matter and well communicated. The little things they do to keep your mind of the process does wonders for comfort and trust. I strongly recommend Gavin and his team to anyone trying to purchase or refinance any property no matter if you are a first time home buyer or veteran in the process.

Gavin was recommended to me by my real estate agent. From the minute I called them, I was treated like a family member. It seems that they truly care about their customers, and do everything in their power to keep everyone informed of the loan process.

We worked with his team members Tom Stafford and Azlee Miles. It was an awesome experience. We received weekly updates on where our loan was at in the process. In addition, we received several thoughtful care packages throughout the loan process which showed wonderful attention to detail. Tom attended our closing which went smoothly and without issue. We would absolutely refer people to Citywide based on our experience.

I would not recommend Citywide Home Loans. I used them for my home purchase mortgage because they were a participating lender for the City of Denver Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC) program. Citywide didn't communicate all of the terms and conditions of the MCC program with me during my closing process. I didn't know all of the terms of the program until I received my MCC certificate after my closing, in particular the annual cap on the 2016 MCC which made thousands of dollars of difference.
