I will not go here again. I had an appointment for a teeth cleaning, and still had to wait almost an hour. I opted not to sign the form allowing my medical info to be given to anyone and everyone....and the receptionist gave me a HARD time about it. Once in, I saw a total of 4 people throughout my visit. My teeth usually feel really good and clean after an appointment...but this time, not so much. If you don't mind waiting forever, the people are nice. However, I'll keep you posted; getting a 2nd opinion in the morning. I went in for a toothache, tooth pulled, no insurance = $500. 5 more appts and a deep cleaning later, they want to pull all of my top teeth and give me a denture and oral surgery, not covered by my new insurance... MY COST = $15K. Poor service! I'm not sorry to give them one star. They have failed me in every way possible. They really try to find little things about your teeth to offer the unnecessary services for extra money. I came in for a cleaning and exam on 11/16/10. I waited over 25 minutes before being seen. The first lady who is an Old Hispanic lady was so rude. She totally was ignorant. When I first started taking my 4 year old daughter there to get some work done she was great. No crying and really enjoy going there, until it came time to work on a tooth that was bothering her. When they started working on her it was fine until she was able to feel what was going on. She was crying, telling them it hurt & to stop but Dr. Pineda just ignored her. I told her she was in pain and to give her another shot. She said, "No, she doesn't feel anything. She's just crying." I told her, "No, she obviously feels it!" Af... read more

Unfortunately, I will need to revise my previously more enthusiastic review. My latest experience ended with me being charged significantly more than the stated amount of $654 to get my wife's cavities filled. It doesn't appear to be have been malicious/bait and switch/upselling, etc (which is why I'm not lowering them to one star), there was apparently some mix up between the front desk, dr. and/or accounting group. I have been going to Gentle Dental for several years and take my kids there. Usually, I have no problem (the dental assistants are all very nice). However, my 9 yr old daughter recently had to have 2 teeth pulled and the ordeal has changed my opinion of Dr. Patel.
