I went to this facility prior to having surgery done as I needed a dental clearance. My regular dentist (not connected with Gentle Dental) had retired. I've been religious about getting a cleaning done every 6 months and it had been about that time since my last dental visit. I was SHOCKED at my first visit to GD that they found 5 cavities! this place ripped me off, cracked my tooth and said it was like that i did nit have any issues until i went there. do not go, i had too pay to fix my tooth they cracked with a crow, on top off that they said would set me up 1year no interest only 6 months and they would not call me back for 3 months trying to call them. i hope those people that work there all get ripped off and put in debt like they did me,. stay away they suck and they lie all from office manager to the 2 girls at front desk and the dentist them self's. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! BEWARE!!!! GREEDY, MONEY HUNGRY DENTAL OFFICE! My son had an appointment for a cleaning only. After waiting for an hour and 15 minutes. He was finally called back. A short time later, I was called to the front desk. There I was informed that my son needed a seals on his teeth to prevent cavities. My initial question was "How much does this cost?" My overall perception of this place is poor. I waited far to long to be seen. The financial person was suppose to inform me of how much the procedures would cost before my visit, but she didn't, and I was told about the extemely high cost for treatments that were unnecessary while sitting in the chair. The sink next to me had blood and cotton balls in it and the floors were not cleaned very well. Needless to say, I hightailed it out of there and now looking for another Dentist. RUN! DON'T WALK, BUT RUN AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE!!!! I went in because I had a root canal that I knew I had to do in one tooth but also because I was having pain in another tooth. I filled out the info form for new patients, got my x-rays done, and had the dentist inspect my teeth. This place is DISGUSTING! I booked my husband at 8:45 am, and myself at 10:00 am so we could switch off with our daughter. I discussed this with the person who scheduled my appointment. I arrived ten minutes early to fill out paperwork. My husband was still in the chair, at 10:20, when they called me in. I asked the lady "how long until my husband is done" and she doesn't know, doesn't even know who he is, doesn't say much, is definitely not helpful. I came to this place only because they were on my insurance list for oral surgeons. I need to have my wisdom tooth pulled and the girl on the phone told me the oral surgeon only comes in once a month and he was coincidentally there that day. So we made an appointment for a couple hours later that day. My very first appointment in 2009 went fairly well. I have seen 4 different dentist in 2 years. That should have been a sign that this place would be trouble. I continued going there because I enjoyed the staff. Liz at the front desk was very friendly. Last year there was new management and staff. I have had nothing but frustration since. Lack of professionalism from the girl who comes to talk to you about what services are covered. Every encounter with this person is unpleasant.
