4 stars for the actual dental work the doctor was fast and efficient. She squeezed me in when there was a cancelation and she provided sincere dental advise that I appreciated. She didn't try to upsale me on things I didn't need and she was transparent. She let me know what was not her scope of practice which cosmetic procedures were not recommended. 2 starts for their business... so their staff hands me a treatment bill with a variety of fees.. and I was paying for some of my treatment out of pocket not with insurance. My brother made appointment for his daughter. When they arrived, the staff mentioned there was no appointment made on that day. I am really annoyed when this happened to my family. The reason I still gave them 2 stars is they are able to put my niece in one week later instead of long wait.

My wife and I went for regular dental checkup and cleaning. We were scheduled for a regular dental cleanup covered by dental insurance but the dentist denied cleaning and was trying to upsell deep cleaning with a hefty charge. All they did is taking xrays, measuring the teeth and upselling their services. Also, the dentist we were promised was not the same for the final inspection. Terrible terrible with kids, my Son had to get X-rays and his tooth extracted. The staff spoke to him very rudely, was super impatient because he was afraid & extremely far from "gentle". I would not recommend this office for kids at all!

This place screws with it's patients and does not actually care about them. They threaten us constantly that our contract will be void if we do not have the right amount of time between appointments, but cancel our appointments without telling us. This has happened repeatedly and we have repeatedly had to take days off from school and work, just to find out "they don't know what happened ". Needless to say, if we didn't have a contract, we would never return.

After becoming a patient at GD in Hayward, CA I also brought in my children, husband and referred my brother in law. However, the Ortho side of the office has been a nightmare. Every time we go in I had to remind the Ortho Dr & office staff what treatment plan they assigned. Then they switched Drs and the new Ortho Dr informed me the last Drs plan wouldn't work and needed to be changed and also said my Daughters plan only includes half of what it was supposed to but they'd work with me. The doctors and most receptionist were really helpful. The main receptionist Indian lady had the worst customer service I've ever experienced rude from the very beginning. Very demeaning and ignorant. No help at all never going back just because of her. She shouldn't be working in customer service

I got my teeth done here a few years back. The braces were removed prior to the job being done correctly. I was younger back then, and since the guy suggested them to be pulled of I went with it. But I trusted them because they are the professionals. I made a mistake putting my trust in the wrong place. This is the outcome. They charged me thousands of dollars and failed to do the job right. Find somewhere else, do your research. This place failed me and I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Proof below.
