My initial visit was good; I really liked "Dr. Z". However, the front desk told me that to see the Endodontist (for a root canal assessment of a broken tooth that was sore/achy, but not overtly painful) I had to wait two weeks. Total waste of my time. I was in the office for 90 minutes only 15 of that was actual dentistry work.
We just moved here from NC and were disappointed enough for the adult visit (do the dentists normally do their own cleanings? the equipment is rather old- though they do have TVs, and I had to wait forever which had me late returning to work), but were underwhelmed at the content of the visit for our 2-yr-old. the front office staff and hygenist are great but the wait time on my last visit in the chair was probably the worst ever. i had a 1 oclock appt didnt get out of the office until 400. the office was not to busy either dont know what the problem was but the dentist took alot of time to see me. been going there for about five years and hadnt had that problem before i may not go back.
I choose Gentle Dental initially because it is less than a few miles from my house. This office also has an orthodontist which is why it is often crowded and the wait time is long. Overall I would say that I am happy with Gentle Dental. I would be happier however, if my insurance plan covered more so I would not have to pay out of pocket expenses every time I go in.
