This was my first time to this dental office. I made an appointment over the phone and the receptionist was quick and I got my cleaning appointment scheduled at a decent time. I saw Dr. Guttierez and her assistant Franky. The receptionist was friendly too. There was a bit of a wait between x-rays and the actual cleaning. 3.5 stars Dropped by for a cleaning this week. Thought my Sonicare was doing wonders, but mistakenly was flossing less. Nope, had to be doing both for the full effect. What I got was a deep scaling cleaning. Yikes! They were playing '13 Going on 30' on the monitors in the individual rooms. I (momentarily) forgot about the cleaning that was about to take place. Beware of the staff! Unprofessional, Rude & don't do their due diligence with insurance. If this was about Dr. Randa Nasr I would give 5 stars and the only reason I went there for years. I went for a check up & cleaning. The hygienist complained, stating I needed cleaning, flushing and bacterial treatment. I was told my insurance wouldn't cover it and they wanted over $600-. Office Experience, If at any time you are to find yourself at a place or situation where you realize that places like this main focus is profit versus human compassion and care. Leave right away, it tells you that the rest of this establishment does deserve your support. I brought a kid who's autistic , homeless and has other disabilities. I am compelled to document an extremely troubling and unprofessional experience I had with the office manager, Yanely. Her conduct fell far below the standard expected in any healthcare environment. They cancelled my appointment when I was already there just to let me know that everyone called off. But if you don't show up to your appointment it's a $40 charge. Make it make sense
This place is an absolute joke, and my recent experience with their billing practices has been nothing short of unacceptable. I was a patient here for several years before ultimately deciding to move to a far better dental office due to what I felt was consistently inadequate and, at times, disrespectful care.
