Ok, So I've been trying to schedule an appointment with gentle dental in surprise on bell road for 3 week's now. Totally my fault with the whole scheduling thing because I have to find someone to help me out with my 7 month old. When I have an appointment or it will be total chaos. So I scheduled two appointments one for my daughter and myself. My appointment was scheduled for 3:10pm & my daughters for 3:50pm. My experience with Dr. Truman Seiler has been extremely frustrating, and I would not recommend him. I went in three times with severe dental pain. He recommended a root canal costing approximately $3,000, but when I explained that I preferred an extraction and implant, he refused to provide that option and continued pushing the root canal. After three visits, I am still in pain and relying on pain medication. I feel unheard, and I find the way my concerns and treatment preferences were handled unacceptable. My wife had an exam and they tried to upsell medication for $150.00 and wouldn't do the cleaning if she didn't get the mouthwash they tried to sell that thry rinse with after the cleaning. They said she had to have a deep cleaning when the second dentist she went to did a normal cleaning. Dr was rude...or just a bad sense of humor...terrible bedside manner. Be careful of extra charges! Call your insurance to verify the upcharges, especially if you have an HMO, medicare, or dental plan they don't like.

I want to start by saying the woman at the front desk was incredibly kind, welcoming, and sincere. My hygienist was also wonderful--very friendly, patient, and honestly more informative than the doctor. I do want to share something important about my experience. I have a brain lesion, which affects my processing speed and speech. Because of this, I sometimes need a little extra time to understand and respond. If I could leave a zero star, I would. Dr. Seiler is completely unprofessional and rude. He speaks to patients as if they was not worth his time. I have overheard a patient with questions for clarification and he responded with such an attitude. They do not work in the dental field, they are not aware of the terminology and the steps. He just assumed they did. It is their body so if they ask for clarification give it. The dentist was extremely rude and demeaning! I literally looked away while he was speaking, so I didn't snap back, thinking maybe I could be feeling overly sensitive -I'm pregnant. When I spoke with the women in the front and let them know how rude he was and that I would not be wanting to schedule an exam once I got the okay with my OB/GYN they seemed shocked about my response. As a provider for a developmentally delayed client...Dr. Seiler should not be in the business of serving the public at all!!! He is rude and I believe he is prejudice against anyone that doesn't fit in his little bubble. He should not be allowed to be a provider for this population as it is hurtful the way he talks down to my client. Office staff was great. Dentist, however, was a rude, self-centered jerk. He told me I needed multiple crowns, and extraction and fillings replaced. I got a 2nd opinion, and none of that was true! Stay away from this place, all they want is your money!

I went to the Gentle Dental on W. Bell Road, thinking the company name says it all... Well, the Dentist at that W. Bell location is Dr. Truman Seiler. When I first got there he bitched at me for not getting my teeth cleaned more than once a year! I had no Dental insurance at the time, and money was tight. I had two crowns put in by Dr. Seller.
