This device has really been a lifesaver! No joke, I thought my wife was going to kill me (not literally, it's a joke people) because my snoring was keeping her awake. Now with this little contraption, she says my snoring is no longer an issue! I won't lie, the product does have its downsides. I am so relieved I finally found something that actually works. I snore with my mouth closed so all those awful contraptions I previously tried didn't work at all and I felt like I was being tortured. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 only because, even after using it for a couple of months, my tongue still hurts in the morning. I can't wear it all night long for this reason. I, first, tried another device recommended to me by my sleep doctor. It didn't work very well (and was uncomfortable), but I figured out the problem with it not working was that my tongue was sliding back after I would fall asleep, blocking my airway. The other device's purpose was to keep the lower jaw forward. I found this online through a review, and it has greatly helped me since. Works, took some getting used to, about a month for me. Some discomfort around gum line that over time will go away. No jaw pain, just had to get used to having my tongue pulled out into the cup.
It works great for me. No more CPap machine. It does fall out once in awhile but I just put it back in and go back to sleep. I get a better sleep not having to fight with the CPap machine hose and mouth gear. I highly recommend it!
