You paid $2500 and I paid $1000 more for a rebuilt transmission as I didn't want the one from a junk car. Then I paid $600 more for labor.

PLEASE READ REVEIWS!!!!!! I purchased a vehicle less that 30 days ago from Whitaker motors in Adamstown, Pa with this bs Gwc warranty. In the last 30 days it has been back to the dealer 6 times for Transmission issues four times, Alternator, radiator, roof leaks, radio issues, rear tire mount, and fuel pump. The garage fixed some of the issues but not the trans. I took the vehicle to another garage who confirmed the transmission was shot and needs replaced. GWC replaced my engine with a dud, they bought it from a company that sent 4 that didn't work and the 5th had to be repaired before putting in. it died 60 days after being replaced but because I use my car to commute, it was to many miles although the company they bought it from.gave a 6 month warranty. i have a car I can't use but still.have to pay for. a warranty company that doesn't care about their people and at 56 I had to get a second job to buy another car to get to work. I bought my original GWC Warranty 3 years ago for about $1,500. I received a notice in the mail reminding me to renew my policy, however, I had to call to receive a price quote. I did call, spoke to Dan, and the price for renewal was outrageous. Just over $3,000 for almost the same parameters of coverage that I currently have. Dan was not happy when I said how overpriced the new policy was and for that, I will not Renew with GWC. He did offer payment plans that involved spacing the payments throughout 12, 24, and 36 months. ... read more

Don't get it save your money it looks like they cover a lot but they will find technicalities to get our of paying. I have paid out over almost 1800. And still counting.

Do not purchase this warranty. They give you a list of what they cover. When I needed piston and piston rings. They had the service people tear down the engine and then said the pistons were not covered because of oil build up and not mechanical failure. This is the worst problem I can imagine having with my gmc terrain. I have only had the car for one month. Now they tell me I can't cancel the warranty that I can't use. I purchased a 2010 Ford F-150 and bought the GWC no worries, just drive ZERO deductible warranty. I had a problem right at the start with a check engine light that came on. The dealer Your Auto Source graciously fixed it. 18000 miles later the transmission started to fail. I contacted GWC whom insisted they were not going to cover the repairs. They wanted records that I had the transmission fluid serviced in the time I owned the vehicle. The recommended service interval per the Ford dealership is 30000 miles. Thank goo... read more

Part needed for repair was back ordered. As I realize this is not the fault of you all I went without a truck for 9 1/2 weeks and was offered the five days of rental car coverage. The five days was nice but it did not help me out the rest of the time I was without a vehicle I realize these times are challenging due to the pandemic and things being on back order due to the pandemic.
