I came for a tour yesterday and lived the look and feel of the community!! Hoping we can talk mom into moving!! We have visited a few others and either they seemed very sterile, or dark and dreary. Heritage Oaks had just the right feel.

I liked the facility layout, that it is both Assisted Living and Memory Care, and had activities both in and out of the facility. What I found lacking was communication about my Mom's status when an injury occurred between the medtechs & med director & me, and that they lost important ER records.

We toured and thought what a beautiful community, smelled good, lots of activities, unfortunately mom planned unexpectedly. This would have been her forever home.

Staff was professional, but communication between Medtechs, Nurse Practitioner, Medical Director with family needs A LOT OF IMPROVEMENT. We would get charges for prescriptions and were not informed what for or that NP had/had not seen our senior. Staff lost important ER paperwork & then told us to get copies ourselves. Clearly had not reviewed the ER paperwork before doing another needs assessment & raising the care rates to the max w/no notice.

As I stepped through the doors of Heritage oaks, I was immediately struck by the warmth and brightness of the space. Sunlight streamed in through large windows, illuminating the hallways and creating a sense of cheerful vibrancy. The walls, painted in soft, inviting colors, were adorned with cheerful artwork and photographs, further enhancing the welcoming atmosphere.

We have had some issues with the billing at Heritage Oaks. Bills do not come in timely manner each month so we have to stay on top of it. We chose them because they were welcoming. This facility had everything we wanted, with common sense policies, and not a bunch of restrictions that were not proven. The entire facility was redecorated this year and is clean and comfortable. We toured Heritage Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care and it was a very good tour! The facility itself was great. However, it was more expensive than most of the other facilities that we toured.

They were very friendly. My loved one was there a short period. We picked this community, because I had references. [name removed] from A Place for Mom helped me to find some places. They were very helpful , during the time that my loved one there. It's a beautiful. place. I would recommend to other famiies.
