First time visiting Hiram Animal Hospital and we will most definitely be back. My dog hurt his leg yesterday and this morning could barely walk. We came in on a holiday weekend at 11:15am and they not only managed to squeeze us in, but took great care of our dog. They thought he may need an xray but before doing the xray the dr physically examined his leg and could tell it wasn't broken and didn't need an xray. Instead after the exam and talking with us he gave him some pain medicine to help him get through the next few days... read more
I haven't been to this clinic in a little over 2 years, but I decided to write a review tonight. The rescue I'm with used to go to this clinic weekly. Dr. Carpenter and staff were always professional and great with our animals. My own dog was seen by him too. I trust him entirely. I unfortunately moved a bit further away, so it wasn't super feasible for me to go up there anymore, but it was not easy to say goodbye. I highly recommend them.

Today I had to put my precious Jackie to rest. The most difficult, emotional, moment of my life She lived for 17 years , Most of that time she was taken to Hiram Animal Hospital for her Annual Check/ Vaccines. I received a phone call from Jennifer Yelverton the Practice Manger. We discussed my review for about 20 minutes. She agreed there was miscommunication from Dr Casey and the front staff. Her and Dr Carpenter will retrain the front staff how to handle this kind of issues in the future. It was very kind of her to call me and discuss the issues. Very pleased with the service here. I called to take my cat in with an infected wound and they worked us in within the hour and got us in and out fairly quickly. Everyone is super nice and helpful, i'll be coming back if i'm in need!
I LOVE Hiram Animal Hospital. Dr. Carpentar is the best. He knows my dog, Daphne so well and keeps abreast of her problems. She has allergies and is a senior. She is 13. Dr. Meeker (same place, different vet) is my cat's vet. Joe has a plethora of problems, Diabetes, Kidney disease and Pancreatitis. She keeps abreast of all of his problems. He is also a senior. Age 15.5 I feel lucky to have this clinic available to me to walk my babies through old age. I have referred others to them and they call me and rave about both vets... read more
