Unhappy Customer The printer did not work when I received it. I returned the product and was charged just around 300.00 for a restocking fee. BUYER BEWARE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER!

1st tray is useless. 1st tray not working properly, amazon techs are unable to help all they have been advising me to do is unplug and plug back in. Can't get ahold of brothers.
Buy something else If you're a tech-savvy person please do not waste your time on this printer. It's very outdated and honestly a waste of time and money. I've had it for over 1 year and after one month of having it, the printer starting to leave dark marks on my papers, and the feature to print two different sizes is not very compatible with MacBook.
Dud I purchased this product for my business. It promised to be the perfect printer for my needs. Well.....I spent 2 weeks trying to get it to work properly using every tech support, IT guy and resource I could find. 1) it's old and has no intuitive functions or touch screen 2) it would go into Deep Sleep mode within seconds of turning it on and would not get out of Deep Sleep unless I shut the printer down 3) I had an extra tray for 11 x 14 paper & the pages would cut off 4) it would not acknowledge Adobe, which was the onl... read more
SHOULD'VE HEEDED THE WARNINGS IN THE REVIEWS Never have I ever experienced such frustration with a printer. Paper jams constantly, ironically, it happens on the same page when doing duplicate print jobs. If I am printing 100 plus pages and the 83rd page which happens to be legal (after a series of letter size)the paper jam will occur in tray 2 (legal size). I will clear the jam and the printing continues. I then print the very same packet (duplicate) and the next packet page 83 jams. I am now getting paper creases which tota... read more
DO NOT BUY dual trays do not work, Brothers knows, still selling I am printing mixed letter and legal sizes. I cannot get dual printers working from one PDF file. I am a Notary and this printer is of no use, without dual printing. Do not waste your money or time, 1-3 days before you receive email help. Not worth it, stay away.
I tried!! AMAZON TECH SUPPORT TRIED TOO!! I purchased this as a dual tray printer for my home business...one tray for paper and one tray for legal paperwork. I love Brother, but so far, this one is a no go... I love Brother printers. This would be my fourth Brother printer I have bought and all my printers have lasted 10 years at least. I am also solely Mac. I bought this one because I am a Notary Signing Agent. So being able to print multiple size documents quickly and around 2000 pages a week at least, was a must.
