    Do not purchase for printing checks After giving the printer a few chances at printing checks I had to go a different direction. Neither feeder can pull the checks in 1 at a time. I am sure if the printer is being used strictly with thinner paper stock as apposed to the thicker stock used for checks it works just fine.

    WiFi of the printer broke after 5 months After 5 months of using this printer, the WiFi went down and broke. Service window and warranty is done.

    Leaves ink splatters on every page about and has since day one. Purchased 2/4/2018 I have been too busy to deal with this and was going through surgery recovery. INK SMUDGES ON EVERY PAGE SINCE FIRST USE AND I AM NOT ABLE TO USE IT!

    Does NOT work from iPhone I purchased this to use as a Mobile Notary and I do most of my printing from my mobile phone. This prints perfectly on my laptop but is HORRIBLE at printing from the iPhone. I've used the iPrint&Scan app, AirPrint and even established direct wifi. From my phone, the printer will not distinguish between letter and legal size. It also takes an agonizing 3-5 minutes to start printing with 30 seconds to a 2-minute delay between each page.     Once installed, never make any network changes Hands down, the least user-friendly printer I have ever owned. God forbid you use it wirelessly and ever have to make any network changes. Get used to reinstalling the printer or have separate instances of the printer for wireless and USB because reconfiguring ANYTHING from the crappy onboard interface will likely induce violence or hair loss at a minimum.     Very disappointment I bought it and it broke within 3 weeks, they replaced it, and it worked for 7 months and broke again, I had bought warranty but when I returned the first and had it replaced skbehow the warranty disappeared. Very disappointment

    I had a problem with the printer not being able ... I had a problem with the printer not being able to print different paper sizes within a PDF file. I cannot stress how many times I called for help to Brother Support. It was on-going for a month and I finally gave up and returned it to Amazon. Just be AWARE if you need help from Brother Support it will be on-going with the first level representatives repeating the same script.     Dual paper tray do not support the legal size paper This printer used to be replacing the HLL5470DW with 2 paper tray, but the dual tray do not support the legal size (8.5X14 inches) paper. I have to use the MP tray for printing the long one.

    Had printer for 2 weeks and now it requires a ... Had printer for 2 weeks and now it requires a software update. The software on the one received is so old that it won't even update the printer. BEWARE.
