It's a printer, not a copy machine. Doesn't copy or scan, nor is color.
Will last a year and then its trash I've owned several of this model printer, which is well-priced and a great printer for a year. Then it will start curling every other page it prints. This happens like clockwork. Google search shows Brother uses cheap fusing rollers. The rollers cost almost as much as buying a new printer, so guess what I do. Why do I keep buying them? Not many small office, large paper capacity printers still around.
AWFUL--STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN FROM THIS ONE Received in Sept 2021 and installed in October 2021-Small medical clinic. More IT calls than we have had in our history as a clinic (over 20 years) just to look at the printer. The quality of the printing despite utilizing Brother original cartridge x 2 is so awful; lines every where; stains everywhere. Frequent professional IT cleanings (in 2 months since installation) are not helpful--drum super dirty--. You clean and is as if ink explodes inside. All IT professionally done.... read more
Creases and paper jams Jams impossible to clear, creases after 6 months 2 units purchased
Can't print over 100 pages at once This printer sucks and the seller is useless. You can't print over 100 pages at once or it leaves extra ink on the pages. That with using the original drum and toner.
Didnt Work When Received Received this printer, after taking forever to even find one available. As soon as I turned it on it said "paper jam" - which to this day 3 months later has not been able to be cleared by tech support, etc. I do believe the seller knew this printer was defective and I happened to be the lucky one to buy it. There is a waiting list for this printer (HL-L6200DWT)
Not reliable Not reliable, lost only 2 years.
Poor print quality--specs and smudges even after cleaning per Brother instructions Just like many others have reported, the print quality has deteriorated and I get specs and smudges on every printout. I clean the drum and loose toner per the instructions and printouts are still terrible. Just like others have mentioned, the lousy 90 warranty is over on the toner. I will NOT spend big money on another toner cartridge due to a Brother defect.
DO NO BUY This printer is worthless. It jams and creases and then the black spindle thing in the back starts leaving ink balls on all the pages as it deteriorates. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. Amazon sends you to Brother.. Brother sends you back to Amazon. There is no way to get your money back.
