Horrible product and technical support (non-existent) No matter what I have tried, based on all the troubleshooting I have read and tried, pages are smeared with large black smudges everywhere. I cannot get anyone on the phone, and I get no response to repeated emails that I have sent to the email provided. This 24 hour support is a total joke... it doesn't exist. This has been a non-stop bad experience since purchasing 6 months ago. Wish I could return... or better yet, engage the technical support to help me resolve this p... read more
Doesn't Work - Brother Customer Support is a Big Pain Spent several hours trying to get this to work with customer support. I ended up returning it and getting an amazing HP printer.
Do not buy...or you’ll be sorry Like many other have posted, DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. The paper creasing issue is a manufacturer’s defect that Brother will no stand behind. As such, this will be the last Brother printer I ever buy.
I use brother printers for my office and the 6200 model has always had issues. I bought this printer in may 2020 and it already has this error which cannot be resolved. The 6200 in particular has several issues. Wireless connectivity has always been a issue. Be careful with this model.
since I bought this printer had no efficiency on the printer always stuck since I bought this printer had no efficiency on the printer always stuck and had no chance to replace it. My employee told me very late that still giving the same problems like folding the regular paper. It most likely from the rollers inside but I am not a manufacturer or technician to fix it. Therefore it deserves the worst quality due to unsolvable problem. This problem must have been checked by the quality control before reach to customers. sorry ... read more
Disappointed This is probably the worst printer I've ever owned. My son sold me on the fact that laser printers are the way to go. So we researched and settled on this one. Everything it prints has streaks. We've cleaned it over and over, following the directions. It clears up but not completely and not for long. Customer Service wasn't helpful. We've been stuck with a faulty printer from the very beginning. Without warning, it just quit working with a flashing error light. We purchased the protection plan. But again, it's b... read more
Spewed toner all inside the unit and drum broke Printer is 8 months old with light use. Have not gone thru one toner cartidge yet. Keeps giving me a drum warning. I opened up the unit and toner is sparyed everywhere. Cleaned it up. Clean the drum wire 10 different times and still get the same warning. Called customer support and they said there is only a 90 day waranty on the toner and the drum. So I had to replace both on my own dime.
Do not buy. Terrible product, horrible experience. I have 5 of these printers and they ALL don't work. I spent hours and hours on the phone with customer service and hours on hold to no avail. They tried a software update that did nothing.. really?!?!? Toner falls all over the page and has spots and smudges even with new toner. Then they tell me I cant let them sit for ONE DAY or else the print quality goes down. That is unacceptable. They will not replace the machines. They will not send me new toner cartridges or drums; bu... read more
Don't waste your money. This is the second Brother printer with the same issue. The print is not adhering to the paper and just rubs off. Has to do with the heating element that makes the ink dry onto the paper. This is a huge issue especially when you are printing checks! I gave you a second chance Brother but you won't be getting any more of my business.
