Problems! 5 months after purchasing the printer began to repeatedly give "print error" messages. It won't stay powered up. It no longer connects wirelessly. 😡🤬

Dirty Printing I've had this printer since 2019 and the print quality gets progressively worse and worse every time I print anything. Anything I print looks dirty. I will not be buying another Brother printer again.

lemon of a wifi printer We fought this printer for the last year! It continuously put itself into deep sleep, WHILE PRINTING!!!! and required a hard reset, the pull the plug kind of reset. Tech support was less then helpful, basically saying sorry you are on your own. The drums dies after 4 months of printing. We have never had a laser printer that needed a new drum every 4 months. Paper tray would only allow itself to be filled 75%, anything more and it chewed the paper and made confetti. Miserable printer experience all th... read more

Read this if your Brother HL-L6200DW has streaks out of the box. I bought two of these at the same time from the Office Depot by my house that was going out of business. 1 printer was for work and one for home office. The office printer has worked flawlessly for a year in which it has consumed 1 TN880 cartridge (12,000) pages. The second printer at home never printed properly. It had streaks on page from the first print. I will describe the symptom in case others have this issue. The page has light vertical lines that run th... read more

This is a really awesome printer if you don't get a defective one. I tried really hard to keep this printer. I wish it would have worked out. PROS: -Speed - this printer is super-fast. No hesitation on starting the print job and finishes really quickly -Duplex feature -Manual tray holds a stack of paper or envelopes, not just one -Paper tray holds an entire ream of 500 sheets CONS: If the printer works, none. However, after a few months, mine started printing black specs all over the page. In my business, this is absolutely ... read more

Massive power surge on startup This printer has a massive and noisy (as in electrically noisy, not audible) initial power draw. It's presumably done to shave a second or two off the startup time, but the effect impacts devices that rely on relatively clean power. I have used several other laser printers in the past on this same outlet, including ones from Kyocera, HP and Epson, without experiencing this issue. This printer clearly has an extraordinary power draw that goes well beyond 10 amps for a few seconds.
