I have been pleased with Hocon Gas and its customer service for 8 years now. When I moved to Heritage Village, they came out and installed a propane fire place and tank. The unit itself and Hocon's service have been exemplary. I do want to give extra thanks and a tip of my hat to Rich O'Neil in Customer Service. He has been helpful, pleasant, and professional from the very start. I wouldn't want to deal with anyone else! Great job, Rich!

picture this my yelp friends - it's the day before Thanksgiving and you say to yourself "hey, it's been a while since I checked the levels on our propane tank." And then you check and you're hovering just under 30%. yikes! But have no fear. Hocon was able to relieve my concerns that I'd run out of gas in the middle of cooking for 20 people and they delivered a refill to us the day following Thanksgiving. I have been a customer with Hocon Gas for four years now, and I am very happy with the service I have received. They are very knowledgeable when I have any concerns or questions, and very prompt if I have any issues. I always pre-buy my propane and I feel the rates are very competitive. I would recommend them to anyone that asks.

Excellent service! We've used Hocon for 7 years since we've moved to our new home that has propane. On the prepay every year and it works out great. Whenever we call the office in Waterbury, they are ready to answer any questions. Great customer service.

I was recently directed to Hocon Propane Gas from a fireplace hearth company that Hocon is the dealer for. I have a 15-year-old hearth with gas logs and misplaced the log set up diagram. I had to remove all the logs for a gas maintenance issue and did not know how the logs needed to be arranged. When I contacted Hocon I spoke with Darrin Monticchio who took the time and was able to locate a product guide that closely resembled my gas log set up. We have used hocon for about 5 years and have really not had any issues. We did run out of gas one time with about 10 inches of snow on the ground and they came but we needed to run a path with the snow blower. It was 8:00 at night but they came. they also worked with us on the price per gallon. Not saying we are thrilled but we are happy :)

run away. Poor service. High prices. Anthony who is branch manager in waterbury is rude and condescending to women. He was a jerk to my wife who simply called for service after our HVAC repair we were told the propane pressure was fluctuating and needed to be repaired. We have had a service contract for a decade.

I had the most horrible customer service review with Hocon today. I called to discuss the $3 increase in my price from Jan to now (Oct) and instead of receiving an explanation I was made to feel as though I had done something wrong just for asking. She was very dismissive even after I explained to her that my questions were reflective of me not knowing much about Propane. When I asked to speak to the manager I received even more attitude. I have never been so disappointed.
