I purchased a piece online and the team at Homeworld was responsive and helpful all along the way, from coordinating the shipping from Oahu, the assembly and pick up from the warehouse. Stephanie went above and beyond answering all of my emails and making sure I had the information I needed. The guys at the warehouse were great too and helped me in understanding the online ordering process. I would recommend them and use them again for any future purchases.

We needed some living room furniture. This location has so much to look at. We wanted a couple of recliners and thankfully the ones we liked were on sale and in stock and could be delivered within the week. We also needed a couch but all the ones that were the right color and size had to be ordered and said maybe end of June so we skipped the couch. I was in the market for one of those new breeze tempur pedic beds and after going to several stores only to hear that sure I could order the bed but it won't arrive until next year : - ( I'll New to the area, I stumbled upon this store but was hesitant after reading their reviews. We purchased a bedroom set several years ago from Tami at Home World. Tami is an awesome sales associate. I recently called to inquire about purchasing another bed, so we wouldn't have to moves ours to our new condo. (Platform bed that has to be taken apart and heavy!) This originally was a BJ Furniture store, a longtime chain in the 808. Now, it's Homeworld, a brand under parent company C.S. Wo & Sons. THE STORE: Located at the outskirts of the Kahului Industrial Park, the single-level store has quite a large footprint but is severely outdated both inside and out. The front of the showroom features living room displays, followed by recliners, then bedding at the rear. Off to the side is an exclusive Tommy Bahama section. I was in HomeWorld and was helped by a new sales person. David was excellent. I needed bar stools and he spent the time needed for me to figure out the right fabric. He has a lot of experience and seems very talented.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when i complained that my special order couch was poorly made. They sent out a tech and after several calls to them they ended up replacing it without making my life miserable. Marci, Robin and Alice all should be commended for handling this with professionalism. I'm impressed and will shop again at their store !

As a lifelong resident of Maui, it is understood that the selection for living room furniture is limited on an island. After a few days of searching and going back and forth, we finally decided on what we wanted at HomeWorld. The customer service is great, we were remembered from our last visit for bedroom furniture a few years ago and had no problems browsing and having our questions answered. I watched several of the other sales people assist families and couples as they shopped and no one seemed unhappy. It does help ... read more

We recently bought most of our furniture for our new condo in Wailea through Homeward in Kahului. Overall it was a good experience. Mike Fitzpatrick was our sales person and he did a good job. The guys who delivered the furniture, which required 4 deliveries, were great to work with. The one thing I really want to comment on though is the 5 star help we received from Tara Arucan, in Customer Service (I believe).
