Avoid this store! Terrible customer service!!! Worse experience ever. This business sales practice are so unethical that they are being reported on Better Business Bureau as well. The store manager Duc Vo has a terrible attitude and treated me with a condescending attitude. Here is what happened at Homeworld Furniture. Day 1: I buy a green size sofa bed. Went to this store on a weekday and no one helped us. No welcome or Hi! To busy sitting at their desk and talking to other workers. Too bAd they missed out of a commission. Went to another furniture store and spent 3k.
This placed is a joke... Great furniture (expensive but it's Maui) but terrible customer service. The delivery guys from the store are awesome and did great work, but the management, call center, and sales reps have no clue. Buyer beware. They have a 5 day return policy. We bought a couch and recliner from Homeworld & asked if we could pick it up at the end of the month. The manager said to the sales lady, yes, but not past the end of the month, I'm not holding it that long. When the end of the month arrived our floors weren't finished but I decided to pick up the furniture as I said I would. We picked up our items on the 30th & brought them home. Had a bad experience with Home World Kahului. I was looking for bed set and the sales person that was a lady seemed really irritated at first, maybe she was having a bad day. Seemed like she did not want to help us, but had no choice because it was her job. I expressed what I was looking for which was a bed that was not too high that is safe for a toddler. I am really very disappointed with the service. I ordered two matching items and they sent the wrong items. Then I had to get them to deliver the right items the day they told me they were going to deliver them. Then I get a call during the time frame about not releasing items for deliver until I paid the difference in price of their mistake vs the accurate price. Similar experience like other people. Couch is not in stock. Wont be here before thanksgiving but it will be here before Christmas. Ok lets order it. put a down payment. Now when it should be arriving we call and get oh..... it might be here next year. We don't know......WTF. Couch finaly arrived. Was supposed to be delivered on a Saturday. I have purchased furniture and bedding from this store many times over the years. I walk in to the store a couple weeks ago, they all act like they know me or at least recognize me. I see a sofa and love seat that I like (cost for the 2 around 5K). I ask for fabric samples to look at. I chose two pieces of fabric (each about 4X6) to take home to see if I like the colors in my living room. HomeWorld furniture uses a third party to make their deliveries, I purchased from them on 12/10/2013 and delivery was scheduled for 12/17 I even after our letting him know that we were furnishing for a rental and were leaving Maui a week later, At last delivery day came and we were running around taking care of last minute details and asked our contractor and his employees to accept the delivery, when the delivery guys come they find that the Queen sofa bed doesn't fit in the elevator they leave.
