Well, sending me a message and requesting I look up invoice numbers and email, etc, they wasted even more of my time. I was told a manager would contact me. True to form...no never did. Just reduced my rating to a single star.

I ordered a sofa and placed a deposit on June 12 and Marci, the sales person said it would be in the first week in August. Since I didn't hear from her, I called on August 8. She called back and left a message, telling me that my sofa was here on Maui, but hadn't made it to the warehouse yet, but should be delivered middle of the next week. This is an update to my original recent review. I received an e-mail advising me that the local store manager, Elizabeth, would be calling me, which she did five days later saying they were willing to refund the credit card I used with $235, being the difference in the $1,298.99 price I paid and $814 sale price, less the $250 I received from my credit card company price protection insurance. Customer service not the best. We walked in and were asked if we need help. We told the lady what we were looking for and she said she was gonna check the back. So we waited and waited waited.. 15 mins. Then we see her helping another customer and totally forgot about us. We looked at her and she looked at us and walked right pass us. So we left. Never going back.

If you go in there and look at the brands they're selling, like Jonathan Louis and other middle of the road brands, Homeworld has their pieces marked up more than double. They are a total rip off. A couch they were selling for 2200 we found the exact same couch on wayfair.com for 700. We were shocked. Even with shipping from the mainland it's waaaaay cheaper to buy online. Their markups are ridiculous, their sales people use old school fear-based high pressure techniques, and everyone working there has a general snarky snake... read more

Avoid Homeworld!! Wish we didn't buy our furniture there. Bad service and rude to us. I have never written a review so obviously I'm very unhappy with our experience. We had a major communication problem with the sales person. Very unhappy with the time we have to wait to have furniture delivered

Worst customer service. Employees have strong odor of cigarettes. They don't seem happy. Can't get a smile out of them. Complained to security and they didn't do a thing about it, at least show that you care. Their service makes it hard to shop. Sandy shouldn't work there. Wish I was able to give 0 stars because they don't deserve even a one.

No customer service here! Not one worker made a attempt to help me, not even a hello or smile. Went to lifestyle Maui and wow what a difference. Spent my money with them
