Price for the room was good, would have preferred a plush comforter. Sink in bathroom did not drain. Had to move the stopper manually in the drain to get the water to drain.

Our driends stayed at the monarch and that was a bit to pricey for us. It is located right across the street so it was very convenient.

Property is now pet friendly and price for room was good. Secure use of elevators. long walk to get to a place for pet to use.

I gifted a VIP guest a room there and paid for everything upfront on my credit card and still the front desk told my guest that they needed their credit card and and put a 75 dollar hold on it for some reason. They refused to give a receipt at the end of all of that and they took away from my gift giving experience by doing that. I want to be able to gift a room without my guest being hassled to give their card or pay anything out of their pocket. Not happy about that

The 75 is a required incidental deposit. It is not a charge except for anything charged to the room during the stay and also the Resort fee on the room, the remaining amount on the 75 deposit is released back to the CC that it was authorized on. I hope this helps clear up the situation.
