Literally the worst customer service I've ever experienced from a company, especially one that gets paid 1000's of dollars. Their products do not deliver what they sell you on and when you call in for assistance their front desk/dispatch ladies will not allow you to ever speak with anyone, ever. They take a message and you'll have no clue if they are even actually delivering that message because nobody in that office ever returns a call. HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT HIRE THEM! I would give them negative stars if I could. My issue with their service has been going on since January 2021. They do not return calls or answer emails. Austin Energy inspected their work and they recommended I get my money back because they did a horrible job. I have tried to get them to fix it to no avail.
BUYER BEWARE. DO not use Houston Air Comfort for anything. They installed a unit in my home never hooked it up correctly. I have had many problems with the unit. Can not get a manager to return calls. Stay away from the company!
Seniors be aware!! Giving a 2 star due to the professional installation done by the guys who installed the system, but the 2 star rating is due to the fact that my In Laws were overcharged and were promised to be reimbursed for the difference. They took advantage of my 70 year old dad, very untrustworthy. Each receptionist I spoke with told me a different story. They said there was no parts or labor warranty because we did not schedule and pay $200 every 6 months for maintenance 2 years ago when the AC unit was installed. Instead they charged us $500 to "clean the filter" stating that would correct the issue of the evaporator coil being broken.
