Really liked this place at first as everyone was so nice but they totally neglected to give all my cats I've brought in their fvrcp, which means another trip to the vet, they charged me $50 for shaving a square patch around my cats butt, 3 year rabies was 74, typical exam I believe was 75 then neither time was I told by Dr Eckstrom that my cats needed dental and their basic dental, with nothing else, no extractions, blood work, etc would be between 800 and 1100 and that WITH the 20% discount they are running. Let me start off by saying we the love the doctors here! They are so nice and great at what that do! However, the service and communication between the staff and the clients is terrible. We have had more than one poor experience, but our most recent experience was by far the worst. We had already been planning on switching offices but one of our pups had gotten something stuck in his eye and we needed to get him in ASAP. Girls that answer the phone are rude not helpful at all. Brought our dogs here for a long time when doctor jeff wAs here but they are going downhill.
This vet gets a lot of high ratings for primarily routine office visits, but if look deeper, you see something much different. My story; On Friday I took my baby girl Mia in for what I felt would be a routine mass removal. The mass was a very large sac of fluid that hung down from her knee to her foot ( about the size of a computer mouse) This vet did a poor job removing the mass on my dog's lower right leg, leading to complications. I have never been more disgusted in any place in my whole life as I am with this vet. We took our completely healthy dog in for surgery to remove a abscess on her leg on Friday. She was an old girl at the age of about 13 and they told us she was healthy and that there wouldn't be a problem with surgery. (They should have never done the surgery to begin with, if they were good people they would have said no.) So my normal vet is closed on Sundays, so I had to find one that was open on Sunday and not an emergency clinic. Which was why I went to Indian tree. The staff were nice, but I can't help but feel they really did not care much about my dog. She had broken a toe, and they didnt have a splint so they make shifted one. Which was fine but the cone they gave her didn't fit, so she can still get at it and chew her bandages. The biggest problem I had was money, it was very expensive. DON'T TRUST THESE MONEY HUNGRY DOCTORS WITH YOUR LOVED ONES!!!!!!!!! Don't make the same mistake I made. I took my puppy here because he wasn't keeping any food or liquid down. The Indian Tree doctors said it was probably something he ingested. They told me it would pass but to keep an eye on him. I took him home and by nighttime, he still wasn't eating or drinking and couldn't walk. He was dry heaving throughout the night. Dr Hein is amazing and I travel quite a ways to have her for my dogs vet. The only down fall is you can never get in timely if your dog has an issue. I will have to switch vets because of this issue.
We had our dog on Revolution flea and tick, which also treats heart worm, they switched to ordering on their online website, which takes 7 to 9 days for delivery, I live only 2 blocks away and used to pick up the order, I jumped through hoops and ordered online only to have Indian Tree cancel the order without notifying us. They seem uncaring and unprofessional. We will not be back, there are a lot of good vets around without having to put up with this.
