I rated J-Prime 5 stars because there's no option for 6! This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Robert the waiter insured that it was all just ...right! The ribeye was done to perfection, and Robert's wine recommendation was the perfect complement. The chocolate caramel tart and port finished an excellent evening's meal. This is the place to go for a special occasion - or just for a really nice dinner.

Our server, Hayley, was absolutely superb. Very knowledgeable. We both ordered the 10 oz fillet to be cooked medium. Wife's came out medium. Min was very medium well. Why the difference. And this does not seer their beef similar to other fine steakhouses in San Antonio. And had somewhat of a salty taste. Will go to Kirby's or Fleming's next time.
Absolutely one of my favorite places in all of San Antonio!!! A very much needed, very welcome addition to the area of 1604 and Heubner!
This is the best steak in San Antonio. When they bring it to the table, the plate is still sizzling. The service is terrific and the wine list is extensive. They were out of a bottle I ordered, so they upgraded me to a nicer option at the same price - excellent!
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. The chef personally came out to talk with us and it couldn't have been a better evening.
Great steakhouse. Love the whiskey cart!
