we had dinner reservations for 5:45. We sat at 5:30pm. We did not get our dinner till 8:30 pm. We asked 4 different times for the bread that they bring to the table and never brought it because we were starving. I then walked up to the manager and he brought it. Our appetizers and dinner still took over two hours. We have been to this restaurant before and NEVER had his experience! The restaurant was soooooo Loud! no one could what the other was saying.
I was cheated on a $175 bottle of wine vintage. The wine line vintage was 2018. The waiter gave us 2021. 5 minutes after I asked for wine line the witer told me that we do not have the 2018 and only 2021. HE DID NOT ALERT MEBEFORE
Both ribeyes were cooked 2 times above the requested style.
This was by far the worst experience we have had at JPrime. We were seated in the back in a small area that was extremely warm. Our steaks were over cooked. The visit was not worth the amount of money we paid.
Service and quality has gone down the past few years after all the good staff left to Austin. Was there for my birthday but felt rushed majority of the food was under seasoned especially the steaks. I think we’ll be looking for another steak place.
J-Prime normally delivers an exceptional experience: prime food, sides and service. Exceptional attention to detail, servers who anticipate your needs, and management that ensures it all runs flawlessly. It’s normally the place you’d take your first date, to celebrate a special occasion or check an item off your bucket list. Sadly, this latest experience fell short in more ways than one. Hoping this isn’t a sign of downtrending quality.
Very noisy. Service lacked. Food was good, but not exceptional for the price that you pay. Was always having to ask for service. Whether it was our bill, another drink, etc. Server never checked back with us, had to flag down others that were walking by our table.
Fine but definite room for improvement. Food was mid to good. Two out of the four of us were served drinks while the other two were not asked until the waiter was taking the appetizer order. Palate cleanser sorbet was set at all four places and then immediately taken away without anyone tasting, because our entrees were on the very next tray. Food was ok, just a hunks of essentially raw meat. Ive been to a handful of Michelin starred restaurants - all were cheaper. Noise was deafening.
