J prime has been our go to restaurant for special occasions; however our last 2 visits (last 3 weeks) have been disappointing. Both visits took 2 hours. Servers are attentive however the time between each course is too long. We had a 5pm reservation & it was pretty empty so I know it wasn’t due to it being busy. I’ve heard the previous manager moved to Blu & I’m wondering if that’s the reason for the decline in service
Always have the best experience and enjoy the food. Something was off this time. Steak was overcooked and staff wasn’t on their game.
Wedge salad best in the world! Filet tender and tasty! Service was a 10! They aim to please! Do not go if you want to get in and out fast. It is a dining experience! We were there, four of us for about 3 hours. I do wish the music was not so loud that people cannot hear one another to have conversation.
Everyone did a great job making our anniversary special! Everyone who came to our table for any reason wished us happy anniversary! The only reason I gave service 4 stars instead of 5 is because I felt slightly forgotten from time to time...if it were an average restaurant, it would be 5+ star service, hands down, but at a place like this I wouldn't expect to ever have to look for or wait for our server. My family will never go back again because of the service. We took my wife for her birthday, which we’ve done the last three years were satisfied to a point. We had dessert drinks paid the bill and left only to get a phone call from our server, accusing us of not paying the bill when I left it smack dab in the middle of the table with a very healthy tip might add. The restaurant was cute. Staff were nice. Food wasn’t good. I was looking forward to eating there, I was disappointed with the lack of flavor. I did enjoy the truffle mac and cheese
We have been waiting to come to J Prime for some time. So we decided this was the place for our anniversary. The location is nice, however we were seated in the glass fishbowl upstairs. There are maybe 8 tables. But it is very loud, there is the rumbling of a machine and then a speaker at high volume. Everyone needed to speak loud in order to be heard so it was almost like screaming. This took away from a romantic anniversary dinner. I rarely write reviews. This experience was so disappointing that I feel obligated to speak up. We showed up for an 8:15 (originally 8:00 but we had changed it over the phone) reservation. We were seated 15 minutes later than the reservation slot. It was apparent that the restaurant had overbooked reservations. In the 15 minutes we had to wait just to be seated, what I thought was going to be a nice experience at a modern steakhouse was actually going to be a noisy, generally unpleasant experience. Everything was great except for the waiter. He didn’t get the appetizer order right and he had strange mannerisms.
