They were knowledgeable, left us information about the chimney, and were very cordial.
I have a wood stove that they cleaned out and then went on the roof to clean out the flue. My experience was good and they were responsive. But he was not very communicative. While he has been out for almost 18 years, he brought up a situation that was never a problem before. But he did good work and was reasonable. I will look to him in the future for more projects in the future.
Since we had used Jack Pixley Sweeps before, I called them the previous week to arrange a chimney cleaning and asked to be scheduled the following week since I would be home that week recuperating from surgery. They are amazing. They are very responsive. They do a very thorough job of explaining everything they are doing as they are doing the inspection. They left the fireplace area cleaner than it was when they arrived. We have used this company before.
Very well. Cleaned and inspected the chimney with no problems, and with no dirt, or cleanup to do after they left.
I called Pixley Sweeps and set a date/time that was acceptable to both of us for this job to take place. Pixley arrived on time, used video equipment to inspect the chimney from the top to bottom. Actual cleaning took place and they were very careful on keeping the insides of my house clean while taking any debris with them.
A rocky start when we had to schedule because tech was sick. But they were quick to offer a Saturday just a week later, and this time tech was prompt and efficient.
I was pleased with this service. He was on time, polite, did a good job and cleaned up afterward.
After hearing Jack Pixley referred to on one of the local radio station home shows, I called to get an estimate to repair our chimney. The initial problem was pieces of chimney flue tile on the ground after windy days. Turned out that I needed my chimney cap replaced. In the end, I did not go with Jack Pixley for two reasons.
