I arrived on time for the hostess to tell me she made a mistake and gave my table away. I was hosting a business lunch with someone who flew in from NYC. Very embarrassing. Instead of saying “but we have another table for you” then simply just said we gave your reservation away. I literally had to say “I’m sure you can find me another table, I’ll wait here.” To which she replied “it’s going to be about 30 mins.” NOT ACCEPTABLE. Had to wait 20+ minutes past the reservation time as host forgot about us. The lobster Mac and cheese had no lobster in it. Service staff forgot about us for a long time. Turned the heat off so we’re freezing cold and had to ask for it to be turned back on. Disappointing experience but only in town for a couple days so made the most of it.

I felt that this restaurant caters to "men" instead of all. The restaurant was full of men, only two women. I was there with another woman and we were ignored, where the men next to us and all around were "doted" upon. We were asked to sit in the wine room....is this where they put all the women? Out of sight? I felt like I was treated as a minority, not as a paying patron. Don't know if I'll go back

I made reservations for 11 people. When we got to the restaurant our table wasn't ready. Some people from our group was running late so it worked out okay. However, we waited a long time for food as well. Most of us ordered appetizers and drinks only and the restaurant wasn't crowded so the delay was unnecessary. Also, I made a note with my reservation that we were going to be there for a birthday celebration and i requested a piece of cake with a candle after the food but that did not happen. I was only there for lunch just for the food. Our waitress was unattentive and hard to track down. When we were placing our orders, she felt it was necessary to tell us how tasty each dish was and how they were her favourites. Thanks, but it seemed fake, like she was spouting off memorized script, that I'd rather have not heard it at all. The hostess was fantastic. She even remembered my name from my reservation and greeted me when I arrived.
