we were greeted very nicely but thats where it ended, our table was ready and we sat and was greeted Minutes later by a server who wasn't ours telling us she will help our server, as we wer watching out server gossip and chat with every staff member by our table as she is saying this. we placed our order and the appetizer came out right away but it seemed our main food was sitting at the window for 15 to 20 minutes almost like our main course was made with the appetizer. we usually go to the one on burrard and Coquitlam and ... read more

I made a reservation for a table for five in the main dining area. We were seated in the bar at a high table that seats four. When I asked to be seated at a table for five as per the reservation, I was told that no five seat tables were available, in a rude tone. Not wanting to make a fuss, I had the waitress add an additional chair. The tabletop was too small for a party of five and we were very cramped. Joey should not take reservations when they don’t have tables available. I would not go again.

We visited joeys last night and had a less-than-ideal experience, primarily due to the service. We had specifically booked a booth, but the one we were given was tucked away in a far corner. While there seemed to be plenty of available space, it would have been nice to be seated in a more comfortable, spacious area—or at least been asked about our preference. I had family from out of town and made a reservation for 8 people at 8:15pm. When we got there we had to wait for almost 45 minutes to be seated because the restaurant wasn’t prepared or there was some issue. They were empathetic and brought us some drinks but ultimately I felt so embarrassed in front of my family that we had to wait so long. We had a reservation for 2 people that ended up being granted 30 minutes late. Granted, it was grey cup weekend so i understand being busy however, we made a reservation because of that expectation. The burgers are very heavily sauced and the wine is priced for other restaurants at 6oz but here, you get 5 oz.

I did not get a table I booked. I booked high chair table and received only standard sitting. When booking I made a note that my husband has a birthday and ask if they can write happy birthday note, but nothing came. So it was just normal, nothing extra dinner.
