We went to Joeys for the third time before a show at TD Place. When we arrived we were told we had the table for 2 hrs only. Fair enough. I didn’t remember being told that when I made reservation but okay. After ordering appetizers, cocktails, mains, a bottle of wine and while still eating (70 minutes in) a “manager” came over and asked if we had been told if time limit of 90 minutes—we said we had been told 2 hours. We were sat at a table that the lighting above our table was burnt out and the lighting is already pretty dim inside the restaurant, we asked for another candle at our table so we can see our menus better and the server must have forgot to get us one.

Went on Wine Wednesday and was very disappointed with my experience this time. Not only was our waitress quite rude, but we were also charged full price for a couple bottles of wine on the day where this place promotes HALF priced bottles on Wednesdays. PSA: Make sure to check your receipt before paying!
Our server was not very nice and not attentive! Almost as if she didn’t want to serve us.
It was ok Pretty good service but there was a pull where no one came for about 20 mins and we had empty drinks . Unlucky timing. Manager came 2x to check and acknowledge that we were there for a bday which is Great but nothing came from that. I’ve been to restaurants where I pay the same amount of money for my bill but the celebrated ppl get a drink or a desert. Nothing tonight. My steak was severely undercooked. My server refilled our water once. He never came back. He didn’t even give us our food. Someone else did.
Way too loud sitting inside, could hardly hear the person across the table and service was very slow from drinks to food. Steak was cooked poorly, too stringy and chewy compared to other places serving the same dish
