Service was very efficient and friendly. Our appetizers were delicious but our steak was mediocre at best. Could barely cut into it and although having asked for medium rare it was rare and full of gristle. We were compensated with a drink but would have been nice to have the steak compensated.

We received a gift card from a family member for $100 USD as a Christmas Present and were excited about enjoying a meal at this restaurant. We went and everything initially about the restaurant was very enjoyable. The food was very good, the service was attentive and we enjoyed our experience until the cheque arrived. Ordered a well done Steak Frites and it was served medium. How does such a thing even occur? While the kitchen took it back to cook it further, I had to wait while the other guests I was with ate their meals.

Our server although very nice seemed very inexperienced. She had another server helping us which seemed way more experienced. The hostess at the front was also very inexperienced...had a reservation which specified a high top in the lounge. I asked if we could sit at the window and 4 tables at the window were empty but she wasn't sure if we could have one of those tables?? Overall experience is bad The manager was not friendly at all and seemed to be not caring about the guests. Our reservation was at 3pm and we were only let in 3:20!! Had a birthday gathering for 10 people and they insisted to separate the group into 2 tables at a distance or else to pay min. 18% gratuity. Ordered the fish tocos. There was 2 which I expected but they were so bad I could only eat one. I was not offered something else. I paid my bill in full and left.

Love being served champagne as a welcome to dining at your restaurant - nice touch! Have been to Joeys multiple times, in many locations even in Vancouver and the service was always great. However last night the Server was okay. Didn’t find her personable and maybe bordering annoyed with us.
