The dinner was great and the food was prepared well and we enjoyed the ambiance.
I've been to Joey in other cities and they usually offer a glass of champagne to guests and we were not offered champagne even though we checked in and told them we were celebrating a birthday. Moreover our initial server took forever to get our drink and appetizer order and only checked back in with us to take our food order after the drinks and apps came out. We absolutely love the ambiance at Joey’s. From the moment you’re welcomed with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, the tone is set for a wonderful experience. The staff is consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely cheerful. We chose Joey’s to celebrate our anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better place. Fantastic all the way around! Our server Chloé was AWESOME! We didn’t have to wait for anything and she was so attentive and friendly, always smiling! The Manager Elijah even stopped by and said hi and ensured everything was perfect! HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!!!
We shared the tomahawk steak between 4 plus 2 appetizers and it was great!
All staff is insanely welcoming, so sweet and genuinely enjoy being there. We are greeted promptly by hostesses, greeted right away when we are sat and the entire time we are there are taken care of. Food was amazing.
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. The complimentary glass of champagne was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the experience. This was our first visit and after our waitress went on lunch, we waited over 20 minutes with no check-in and no apology we hadn’t even ordered dinner. Our 5:45 reservation ended up lasting until 7:30 due to the delays. Great food, but the service was disappointing.
Always love my time at Joey! Favorite restaurant in OC!
Overrated. I was excited about coming here after seeing the reviews but it seems that this is just a trendy place with ok food.
