Everything was first class. The food the service, the waitress was a 10 plus We love Joey's. Will be back soon. Food excellent.
We arrived for our reservation and no one approached us to check us in. People around us were being seated. I had to ask if someone would check us in. Someone did and offered us champagne. On previous visits staff was very welcoming. We were seated and ordered and our appetizer arrived before our cocktails. I hesitated ordering another one. We enjoyed our food, Korean cauliflower, lettuce wraps and yellow tail tuna salad. Our server was vey nice. She had difficulty placing the order on her iPad. As always… Joey is our go to place for fine dining in a casual setting.. delicious food, salute to all the chefs
We already love Joey Restaurant Fashion Island Newport Beach, and last night was no different… We were lucky enough to be taken care of by Jay and Ruby. Jay is an extremely respectful, kind, hard-working young man who embodies how guests should be treated. Ruby is patient and caring and made us feel special. Thank you Joey Restaurant. You knocked it out of the park once again!! YAY!!
First time dining here— loved the food/ambiance! Totally impressed with our server— Tiffany— she expertly walked us through the menu— very patiently— and we both ordered sushi that surpassed our expectations!! Additionally Tiffany very kindly provided an incredible dessert that was so yummy and delicious— we were so incredibly grateful and appreciative!! We’re here on vacation and definitely plan to return in the near future! Thanks for a great dining experience!!
The food is phenomenal - I especially love the seared salmon and Korean cauliflower. The wait staff is very attentive and helpful. There are dozens of really, really good restaurants in this area but we continue to return to Joey for amazing food and service!

Amazing spot for a lunch date. Highly recommend the salmon roll and hummus. Will be back!
What a great place for Sunday brunch. Veri vibey, but not overly loud. Indoor outdoor seating, 2 bars which is a plus! Fresh food esp. the sushi. Staff is super friendly, even the valet guys.
