Food and service great. Very poor checkin process. Long line to "check in" then 20 minute wait with people milling around. Very noisy.
This has long been one of my go to spots for everything from a simple get together over drinks to a full blown event like a birthday or anniversary. The staff is top shelf - and truthfully, the place is vibey enough that they could get by without relying on a great kitchen. But they dont have to because on top of everything else - the kitchen is amazing! Joey’s ALWAYS delivers! Overall Best “golf score” Resto in the OC! Even love bringing My Rari as its parked in the front! Something a Car guy appreciates!
Our experience at Joey’s was excellent as we had the best waiter Zach, he went above and beyond to provide above excellent service! Food was delicious. Zach is a truly an asset to Joeys!

First time dining at Joey’s, and unfortunately our experience started off a bit rough. Despite having an 8:45 PM reservation, we had to wait an additional 30–40 minutes to be seated due to overbooking. For a restaurant of this caliber, better crowd control and reservation management would be expected guests with reservations shouldn’t have to wait more than 15 minutes. This was our third time dining at Joey. We were greeted immediately by both hostess. Luckily, we got seated right away, nestled mid patio near a tree. Perfect for conversations.First concern: Shortly, after being seated, a manager approached our table stating that they anticipate a large party will be arriving shortly, he asked if we would be ok to move to 4 seater table, we agreed.
