Food was beyond dissappinting. I’ve never been served wings that were that burnt before and the French dip sliders were a soggy mess. Our waitress was great at least.
The noise level was very loud and the service was mediocre. The foods was very good.
We had fond memories of going to Joey's in Bellevue, WA many years ago. We thought the ambiance and food were for special occasion. Not the same experience was found at Joey's Woodland Hills. Service was slow, waiter came to table after 20 minutes. Drinks and food came out, and the food was not awesome. Very much like what I imagine Golden Corral might be. Poor quality steaks, chewy and small. What is with the brown paper napkins? Very disappointed and will not be back.
The service was terrible. I was left to roast in the sun for two hours during a business lunch. I had to flag someone down to order. I had to flag someone down to pay. I do a lot of business lunches, and this was absolutely awful!
This was my first time at Joey’s. I’ve heard so much about it and we were really excited to go. The food did not disappoint. The service was another story. Everyone from the person out front to the wait staff did not seem happy to be there. They all looked irritated. Our waitress was very slow to attend to us. I even had to get up from the table to go talk to her asking when the birthday dessert was coming and to also please bring the check as we had been sitting for sometime. I was also frustrated that I had made these reservations for my daughter’s birthday. Was even asked who the birthday girl was by the hostess yet I had to ask our waitress when something was coming and she clearly had no idea. She was incredible slow for our table. Food ok service took so long and when they bring the food was cold!
Two things were problematic. The first was being told of the 1 napkin per person (which are flimsy to begin with) rule where the server did deliver extras but was hoping not to "get caught." The second was requesting larger plates for sharing our dishes and being told they exist but are kept hot for hot dishes. Weird because the small plates are really small and not conducive for sharing.
