Server misrepresented an option and we were charged $68 for 2 meals instead of $39.50. Truffle fries were cold; we requested new fries. They came and were still cold inspite of the server stating she just got them hot from the chef. We handed her one so she could see they were not hot. We were billed for both orders of fries! The only upside was that after explaining the issues with the manager, she reversed the charges on the fries and re-wrote the two meals at the proper price. We wont be returning.
Service was awful. I have been to Joeys many times and the service has always been great, however yesterday was terrible. The server took over 20 mins to take our drinks order, then didn’t pour enough glasses! Missing one of the table who I then ordered a separate glass of champagne for. We only ordered starters because it took 45 mins for that order to be taken. Overall not good at all
I normally absolutely love my experience at Joey‘s and have usually considered it one of my favorite places to die. However, this experience was off 100%. My dish which is a go to was prepared completely different and I did not enjoy it. My friends order came out completely wrong. They had to go back to the kitchen and redo it. Waitress was very nice , I was celebrating my husband’s birthday. I never got my dessert. Waitress went on a 30 minute break and no one came to check in on us . I asked another server to bring me boxes and he forgot , I had to get up and asked someone else . We love joeys , but this is the first time we had bad service and have waited too long to be helped . It was so unfortunate we experienced this on my husband birthday and mind you it was a rainy night and it was not too busy
Hostes did not greet us, we had to greet them when we walked up to the desk. Bathroom (W) needed better attention to keep clean and stocked with paper products. Service was sub-par. Ordered a bottle of wine and was not given the ability to taste, we had to ask for coasters. When we asked for the table to be wiped down to remove food crumbs from previous diners, when we asked for more water or napkins we were given the attitude of annoyance (from 4 separate service staff members). Prices have increased and portion size has decreased.
Very disappointed it wasn't the dining experience I'm used to for a special occasion at Joey. Hopefully it was just an off night.
