They sat us then moved us because they said they had a larger party that needed the table. Took about 30 more minutes to finally be seated even though we had a reservation.
Food felt rushed. Pasta not cooked how it normally is. Portion on butter chicken was smaller than normal.
Unfortunately, our experience at Joey's was extremely awful. We arrived early (around 6:05) for our 6:30 reservation and were told we would be seated closer to our reservation time. Totally understandable, and a classy gesture by the restaurant is having a free glass of champagne while patrons wait for their table. I had reservations for two and I waited over an hour and a half after my reservation time. I was treated rudely. I have been to Joey and Manhattan Beach and Newport and had an amazing experience but not at this Joey in Woodland Hills. I will never return back.
Worst experience. My wife and I a reservation at 730 and did not get seated until 830. They didn’t even apologize or acknowledge we were waiting for an hour despite going up to the front desk multiple times. Would not recommend and we are never dining here again.
Our waiter was very attentive, but it seems like they're very understaffed on the food runners and bussing staff. We had to ask twice for set ups, our food was delivered cold (french fries and steak should not be cold). It felt like everyone was crazy rushed.
Waited 15-20 mins even with a reservation because the staff were overloaded and could not get us seated.
Ordered steak and lobster. Lobster didn't come at all. When we told the waitress she just told us she will check on it. No apology. Lobster came after we finished our meal. The restaurant did take off only the cost of the lobster and did give us a free desert.
the service was extremely slow, the quality of the food was not as expected and not as good as in previous visits.
